StartWiki is a WikiWiki website, a public directory which promotes the idea of anyone can edit. It's based on wiki technology and is powered by MediaWiki - the same software that runs Wikipedia.

Why start? Well, since Microsoft Windows(R) dominates the world, and almost every copy of Windows(R) comes with a start button, we thought it's cool to have it remind everyone to come to this site whenever they feel bored!
