Getting a high PR (PageRank) rating is what every site owner aims for. I got a PR4 during my days at visa blog. Yes, it’s low, but I enjoyed being ranked on first page on many queries. But now, it has sunk to 0, and it shall take me a considerable time to rebuild that.
Well, it just has to happen this way. Anyway, Wikipedia has a list of the sites that have been found to have a Google PageRank of 10 and 9. Here are some from the perfect 10 list:
Google.com - Google, search engine that uses PageRank. Hey, if Google doesn’t get it, who will?
Apple.com - Apple Computer, also houses the iTunes Music Store.
w3.org - The World Wide Web Consortium.
StatCounter - Site statistics services.

I think for a blog, getting PR 6-7 is very very good already. Slashdot is like the exceptional ones with PR9 because even Google is promoting them.
Work for it, work for PR 10!
