Previewseek takes on Google

Does this newbie in search engine arena has all it takes to outdo giants like Google? It claims to have more than 35 proprietary and patent pending technologies, which one of them is the BehaveRank algorithm that continuously evolves based on user behaviour.

Among many “outstanding features” that it claims to have, I like this feature best. When you search for “java”, it understands that the word Java can mean many different things, as in Java the programming language, Java the island and Java the coffee. It shows a definition box for you to refine your search if necessary. This is really useful, and it saves you from having to click through pages of irrelevant results.

Wow, thanks for posting this. This is very exciting … Previewseek is really an impressive new search engine. I really like the fact that it also works in Chinese! The only thing it is missing is a help or FAQ guide on all the features and functionalities which would be very useful
