LG has recently unveiled their new ‘biscuit cellphone’ at CeBit 2006. The new slim and sleeky KG320 looks very much like the classic NEC i-mode phone N353i, and it is only 9mm thick.

Albeit small, it comes complete with the following spec:
* 1.3 megapixel camera
* 262k color TFT LCD display
* Bluetooth
* 128MB of on board memory
* MP3/AAC music player
* USB Mass Storage

LG KG320
This is a great phone.
Plusses:
The spare battery and fast charger means you never need to be tied to a powerpoint again
(dont loose your spare battery, the KG320 is so new that replacements are hard to find)
Some negatives:
1) the camera is highres and decent quality but cant compete with the top-end Nokias for low-light pictures.
2)You can use MP3 for ring-tone (never pay for a ring tone again!) but it seems that ‘SMS received’ tone cant be MP3 (big loss of face in Philipines, where SMS ring tone defines you)
3)as an MP3 player, the thin body means it cant have the ‘fat’ sound of a fat phone, and with earphones it isnt superloud (saves your hearing?) I would still travel with a nano (actually I use a Creative) the memory is generous at 128M, but no miniSD card…
4) I couldnt reprogram the backlight, had to get the guy in MBK to do it The shame!
5) the main drawback is it doesnt have a speakerphone, so you cant use it in very noisy places - amazing how few phones have a speakerphone.
the main plus is it looks so cool that even expensive Nokia owners get jealous. Which is what a new cell phone is all about.
