It seems that Google Talk has the ability to update itself. My Google Talk restarted itself unexpectedly just now. Then, my McAfee firewall alerted me that it has detected that Google Talk executable has changed. The version number has increased from 1.0.0.64 to 1.0.0.66, and I still don’t see any way of turning off the auto-update option in the new version.
