This trick has been around for years (first reported by the BBC in 2003).
Go to Google.com, search for the word failure or the phrase miserable failure and you’ll see that the first result links to White House’s official biographical page for Bush. You can double the fun by feeling lucky.
Google finally has a statement for this. Marissa Mayer, Director of Consumer Web Products explains that is caused by a practice called googlebombing. They don’t condone the practice, nor they wan’t to change anything to reverse it.
