FBI puts stop to spam king

What to know who is clogging your inbox with Viagra and mortgage spams? Alan M. Ralsky (pictured here) is one of them.

Now here is the good news for the rest of us. FBI agents seized computers, laptops, financial records and disks from the 8,000-square-foot home of this unapologetic king of bulk e-mail in September, leaving him with nothing to spam.

“We’re out of business at this point in time,” Ralsky said last week. “They didn’t shut us down. They took all our equipment, which had the effect of shutting us down.”

Joy. And Mr. Ralsky, we are not sorry for that.

What a good news for a Monday morning.
