A teen in Singapore has been using his neighbor’s unprotected Wi-Fi connection without permission. He now faces charges punishable by up the three years imprisonment.
Garyl Tan Jia Luo, 17, is the first person to face charges under Singapore’s Computer Misuse Act, the Straits Times via AP reports. The teenager also faces a possible fine of up to 10,000 Singapore dollars ($6,425) if convicted despite the lack of aggravating factors to his alleged crimes.

27th of April 2006 is probably the worst day for Elvis Ho Yui Hei (何銳熙) of his life. He was on a bus heading to Yuen Long of Hong Kong, and was irritated by a middle-aged man sitting in front of him who was talking loud on the phone. Elvis then tapped his shoulder asking him to lower his voice.
The middle-aged man was no simple person. His name is Roger Chan Yuet Tung (陳乙東), who is alleged to have made three attempts for the office of Hong Kong Chief Executive in 1997, 2002 and 2005. Roger was annoyed by Elvis’s action and he spent the next 6 minutes to scold and insult Elvis by using excessive profanity.
