The transparent VW Phaeton assembly plant


How is it like to work in a factory that is transparent? Someone has visited the Phaeton assembly plant in Dresden of Germany, and posted some photos of the inside and outside of the factory.

I have put together some photos, to provide a bit of a ‘tour’ for folks who have not yet been to Dresden. I hope you find them informative. If you would like to visit the factory, they are very much ‘visitor oriented’ - the factory is open about 10 to 12 hours a day for visitors.

Faking the lomo effect

Don’t feel bad if you think you don’t take nice photographs with your camera. With a few steps in Photoshop, you can apply Lomo effects (typically bright colored and highly saturated with darkened edges) on your photos to make them look nice. No hardware lens or software filters are needed.
