Apple has finally released what we’ve been waiting for a long time - an Intel processor-based laptop. Dubbed MacBook Pro, it is the first Intel-based portable powered by Intel Core Duo processor, which gives 4x faster performance over the PowerBook G4.

Apple has unveild Intel-based iMac at Macworld 2006. The new iMac features a Core Duo processor running at 1.83 or 2.0 GHz that Apple claims to give a performance boost of more than 100%.

Sony Ericsson has announced the new Walkman cellphone. Dubbed Sony Ericsson W810, this new model is a quad-band phone supporting two major U.S. frequencies (the 850 and 1900 Mhz bands) and the two international bands (900 and 1800 Mhz bands), making it an ideal phone to be carried around. It also supports EDGE for higher-speed data transmission.
Like the W800, it comes with a Memory Stick Pro Duo slot, pre-loaded with a 512MB memor stick, which is upgradeable to 2GB. Its internal memory of 20MB is used to hold ringtones, applications and photos).

To kickstart the year, we present you the first digital camera that comes with not one, but two lenses.
The new Kodak EasyShare packs an ultra-wide angle lens (23 mm) and an optical zoom lens (39 – 117 mm) into a single body. The combination of the lenses gives you a total of 5X optical zoom range. This 5MP camera comes with a (now a de facto) 2.5″ LCD screen, 32MB of internal memory and uses SD as its external storage medium.
Kodak expects to ship it later this month with a $399 price tag.
