The new iPod Shuffle - now the world’s smallest!


Apple today has announced the new version of their popular iPod Shuffle. According to Apple, it’s officially now the world’s smallest digital music player.

Currently, only 1GB version is available. The new shuffle is expected to ship in coming October, and is available for preorder now.

Live.com out of beta


While these days it’s cool to label your everything with “beta”, Microsoft somehow decided that their Live.com portal is now ready for the prime time. The live version of live.com is immediately available in 47 different markets worldwide.

Quoted Christopher Payne, corporate vice president of Live Search,

“The launch of Live Search is a significant milestone for our services business, with our core search and monetization platform ready for prime time for MSN and Windows Live as well as for partners through syndication deals. We now have the base to weave search through our services in ways that bring value to customers. This is just the beginning. We look forward to continued investment in search to deliver services that bring new levels of control and personalization to the Web experience.”

Pixart PhotoBook review


One of the things you can always envy your reviewer friends for is, sometimes they can eat for free. Or they can try the latest gadgets for free. While the rest of us have to pay.

I had the pleasure of being a reviewer when Dominic, co-founder of Pixart.com.my invited me to review their new product, Photobook. The product looks interesting, and so I accepted the invitation.
