The next time you buy an iPod from a local Apple store, just prey hard that you will get a MP3 player inside the box, not some sort of unknown stinky meats.
When her son opened the box for the high-tech toy, he discovered the iPod that should have been there wasn’t. It had apparently been replaced with some kind of mystery meat.

Digg.com, one my favorite sites of getting blogging materials is apparently under spam attack right now. I first noticed that the front page stories are getting unusually high number of comments (more than 100 each), and upon checking, it seems that someone is running a script to comment-spam digg.com. All comments point to http://tinyurl.com/eyafl, which leads to a post hosted on Blogger about exploiting Digg.com’s non-hierarchical editorial control (which has been removed by Google by the way).
It’s not difficult to launch a comment spam on Digg.com (at least at the moment). There is no captcha and neither there is any flood control. Just fire up a small Perl script that sends POST requests to the article that loops endlessly would beat the system, and of course bring annoyance to its users.

And the latest addition to the extension arena is the P2P file-sharing. Yes, the pandora box.

Love the songs the radio plays but the DJs are always lazy to tell you the title of the songs? Tunatic is the software that can help to identify the song by listening to it.
It’s currently available as a freeware for Windows and Mac machines. Just let it listen to the songs you want to know the title of using a microphone, and within seconds you will get the title and the name of the artists.
I’ve tested it and found it to be very impressive. Although it didn’t recognize all songs that I played, but the results have been pretty accurate for songs that are popular.
Just one mismatch though. It recognized “Yesterday once more” by The Carpenters as “Every Sha La La”…
