Nissan Motor has recently demonstrated Nissan Pivo, which is named after “Pivot�. The car lets the driver turn the front wheels in one direction and the rear wheels in another in order to pivot. It is so revolutionary that it took me quite some time just to try to figure how the concept works.

The new version of Skype has been released. In this version, several new features have been introduced including: call forwarding, test calls, 21 new emoticons, online profile pic selection, ringtone manager, new APIs, avatars and advance links.

Wow, $2.99 a domain? Who else can afford to do this besides Yahoo? That’s only one buck higher than their record low of $1.99 a domain a few months back. If the ICANN is still charging the resellers at $6 a domain, Yahoo loses $3.01 for every registered domain.
It even comes with a 24-hour toll-free customer support! Are you sure, Yahoo? I’ve spent an hour looking for but I still can’t find it anywhere on your website. That number sure is useful for people who have problem with their domains that need you to look into it URGENTLY.

According to Microsoft, your upcoming Windows Vista is going to boot up and shut down faster than you coud ever imagine.
Switching it on will be like turning on your television, you get the display within 2 to 3 seconds. It works by processing the login scripts and startup programs and services in the background.
Whoa, that’s impressive, Microsoft. But I don’t get the point. For my Windows XP machine, I get to see the desktop pretty quickly, but the system is almost not usable for another minute or two because it has many things to load in the background.

Now Logitech has unveiled something I’d say is really cool. The new Logitech io2 looks, feels and works like a premium pen. It has a tiny camera to capture your work, and is capable of storing up to 40 pages before it needs to be syncronized with your computer.

The Google Code Jam 2005 is over, with Marek Cygan, a student at Warsaw University as the champion. He walks away with $10,000 in cash.
According to the press release, this year’s Code Jam has attracted 14,500 participants from more than 32 countries. Some 14,000 participans were eliminated in the first round. The top 100 scorers from round two were then brought to Google for the finals.
