If you check this site The Million Dollar Homepage out, you probably can’t stop slaping yourself for not having thought of this simple idea earlier. Yes, this guy is trying to raise 1,000,000.00 dollars by selling pixel ads.
Don’t feel bad, it’s better late than never. Introducing 1mad, which stands for 1 million-dollar ad. Now you can start selling pixel ads! Install it on your blog, and you’ll be millionaire soon. It’s an opensource freeware. Feel free to use it.
A working copy has been installed on the right column of this blog. You may also see 1mad in action here.
Since this is the first release, expect to see some bugs. It is safe enough to use, as it never requires write access to the database. I am working on the admin control panel now.
Requirement: PHP and MySQL.

Any progress re this script? I tried it and it looks very promising. However it allows for placing ads in top of other ads. The Admin Control is a must.
Is this being updated?

Worked correctly first try, and this is only the second php/sql script I’ve ever installed!
pixel table generated is great too!
I wish I had one. Unforunately, I have been extremely busy with several projects recently.
At the moment, try to manage the ads from phpmyadmin, it should be easy and straight forward.
I *will* find the time to write the admin.

I can confirm what one commenter said : it’s not going to work as well as for the original page.
